The center provides cadaveric workshops for residents and specialists from Thailand and other countries. The fresh cadavers are used for cadaveric hands-on trainings in various fields, such as
Short training courses mainly rely on human body dissection using the formalin-fixed cadaver. We let students make their own experience in dissecting and finding important structures as well as studying the anatomical relations among the structures of interest. During our dissection time, important anatomy charts including the topographic anatomy and the MRI are provided adjacent to the dissecting table. Group discussion and teacher-student discussion are held along the dissection time to ensure maximum learning.
This course is suitable for preclinical students, such as medical, dental, nursing, and physical therapy students. Moreover, this course can provide teaching and learning for lecturer in anatomy, postgraduate and graduate students in medicine and health sciences who would like to recall, learn, and discuss the anatomical knowledge to apply in clinical anatomy.
The cadaver-based anatomy learning provides good dexterity skills, promotes group participation, discussion and ultimately supports your preclinical anatomical knowledge relevant to clinical practice in the future.
